IT Network Intern

Ferrous Processing and Trading (FPT) is one of North America’s premier processors, buyers, sellers and recyclers of scrap metals of all kinds and is a key supplier to the metals industry of North America. FPT is a wholly-owned business of Cleveland-Cliffs has an immediate opportunity for an IT Network Intern. The intern will collaborate with internal teams to gather and translate information into clear, organized content, while supporting day-to-day efforts to maintain the company’s brand, messaging, and online visibility.Summary of Responsibilities:Organize and develop content from collected information for internal and external communicationsAssist with website content updates, including adding and editing text, images, and announcementsHelp ensure consistency in branding and messaging across digital channelsAssist in maintaining and updating the company’s social media platforms, including drafting and scheduling postsSupport efforts to enhance the company’s online presence and visibilityReview and update Google Business listings and other online directories for accuracyMonitor online reviews, comments, and engagement, and flag items as neededAssist with general marketing, communications, and research projects as assignedMinimum Qualifications:Must be at least 18 years of age.High School Diploma/GED or may consider 1+ years of equipment operator experience.Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detailComfortable working in a professional environment, including coordinating meetings and supporting information-gathering discussionsAbility to organize and synthesize information into clear, structured contentFamiliarity with social media platforms and an interest in digital content and communicationsStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlinesSelf-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a team environmentBasic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); experience with content management systems or website editing tools is a plusPre-Employment background, physical, and hair drug screen requiredFerrous Processing and Trading is a subsidiary of Cleveland-Cliffs Inc., the largest flat-rolled steel company and the largest iron ore pellet producer in North America.
