Be part of an extraordinary life!Summary Of ResponsibilitiesThe Medical Records Coordinator is responsible for the proper recording, filing, and upkeep of the Health Center medical records.Compensation Rate: $15-$17 HourlyPrimary Job FunctionsContacts providers as necessary to complete medical record documentationMaintains confidentiality of medical data.Attends in-service training and education sessions, as assigned.Assists in maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction for our residents and guests.Performs specific work duties and responsibilities assigned by supervisor.Hospitality FocusCarillon Senior Living fully embraces a culture of hospitality. Requires analysis of facts and information to take action following established guidelines.Personal And Public ContactThe Medical Records Clerk will have personal contact with all levels of Carillon staff, residents, other healthcare professionals, and government agencies.Physical/Mental ConditionsThe Medical Records Clerk position normally works in a well-lit, comfortable office surrounding. Must be able to concentrate with frequent interruptions. Must be able to sit for up to ninety percent (90%) of the workday. Must have manual dexterity for typing and filing. There will be occasional walking, frequent bending, frequent reaching, and frequent stooping. Must be able to lift and carry up to fifty (50) lbs. independently.
