Location: This is a statewide position supporting KVC Missouri, a business unit of KVC Health Systems. Candidates must reside in Missouri, as the role requires occasional travel throughout the state to various KVC Missouri program and campus locations.
Pay: $78,000–$85,000 annually, based on education and experience.

What will this job look like for you?
Imagine a role where your HR expertise directly fuels the growth of an exceptional continuum of care. You will lead HR services for our largest business unit, spanning regional campuses in St. Louis, Kansas City, Springfield, Columbia, and St. James . Your days will be a dynamic blend of strategic oversight and hands-on leadership as you:
- Lead a Talented Regional Team: You will co-supervise two regional HR Directors and a regional HR Manager, fostering a culture of accountability and professional growth.
- Be the Face of HR Across Missouri: This is a high-visibility role requiring statewide presence. You’ll travel to our various sites to meet service level agreements, ensuring our local teams feel supported and connected.
- Drive Mission-Critical Growth: You will own the "top ingredients" of our success: recruitment, retention, and leadership development. You’ll be the architect of human capital strategies that ensure we have the best talent to serve children and families.
- Navigate a Shared Services Powerhouse: Operating within KVC Health Systems’ sophisticated HR Shared Services model, you’ll focus on the high-impact work—employee investigations, competency development, and deep collaboration with local operational leaders.

You likely have deep experience interlacing HR practices with clinical, educational, or residential treatment settings. Qualifications We’re Looking For:
- Experience: At least 8 years of HR management experience (or 5 years with PHR/SHRM-CP), with significant multi-site leadership.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Skills: Superior critical thinking, a proactive service-oriented mindset, and the ability to use data to drive talent solutions.
- Character: A change agent who leads with authenticity and compassion.
