Title: Product Owner Location: El Segundo, California Details: Contract with ongoing need, opportunity for direct hire, fully onsite role Pay Rate: $70.00 – 80.00/hr. with benefit inclusions Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Owner – AI to lead the development and adoption of enterprise-wide AI initiatives aligned with key business objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of artificial intelligence technologies, a strong customer-focused mindset, and the ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders across multiple business functions. The Product Owner will drive strategy, guide AI product development, and ensure successful implementation and adoption of AI-powered solutions across the organization. Responsibilities Align and oversee enterprise-wide AI product development efforts, ensuring measurable business value and impact. Collaborate with business units to identify challenges, conduct ideation sessions, and prioritize high-value AI use cases. Lead the development and advancement of AI-powered solutions, including new business models, through cross-functional coordination and executive engagement. Establish and promote responsible AI principles, partnering with legal, compliance, and security teams to define governance standards. Partner with technology teams to design, build, and deploy scalable AI solutions, ensuring successful adoption. Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing strategic direction and recommendations on AI initiatives. Drive awareness and education on emerging AI technologies through training sessions, workshops, and internal programs. Build and maintain relationships with external AI ecosystems, including industry experts and academic institutions. Years of Experience and Education 10+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 8+ years with a Master’s degree. Master’s degree, MBA, or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field preferred. Skills Required Strong expertise in artificial intelligence technologies, including machine learning, generative AI, and agent-based systems. Experience building and scaling enterprise AI platforms and capabilities. Solid understanding of AI/ML fundamentals, algorithms, and their application in business environments. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a product development environment. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage executive stakeholders. Strong problem-solving skills and strategic thinking capabilities. Demonstrated ability to influence, prioritize, and manage complex initiatives.
