Join a company where your contributions help move the world forward—one shipment at a time.About the PositionThe Inventory Control Analyst is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring alignment between physical inventory and system data within SAP, other applicable inventory software, and the warehouse management system (WMS). This role supports inventory control processes across inbound, outbound, and storage functions while serving as a key link between warehouse operations, customers, and system support teams. This position serves as a contact between various elements of the supply chain by managing all inventory needs required through daily operations. The role plays a critical role in ensuring inventory accuracy, supporting operational efficiency, and maintaining data integrity through cycle counting, reconciliation, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.FunctionsExecute and maintain all inventory transactions in SAP and WMS, including receipts, transfers, adjustments, returns, and replenishments, ensuring data accuracy and system integrity.Perform daily audits and reconcile discrepancies between system records.Investigate inventory variances through root cause analysis and coordinate corrective actions with operations, quality, and customer teams.Maintain alignment between SAP and WMS inventory records to ensure data consistency across platforms.Monitor inventory levels, aging inventory, and stock conditions.Develop, analyze, and distribute inventory reports with interpretation, trend considerations, and action items notedAssists with a variety of internal projects and inspections, provides professional guidance and information, and recommends appropriate solutions.Support inbound and outbound processes by validating system transactions against physical movement of goods.Coordinate with receiving, picking, and shipping teams to ensure proper SKU placement, storage accuracy, and inventory flow.Manage customer returns (RMA) processes, including system transactions, disposition, and reconciliation.Ensure proper handling, documentation, and disposition of damaged, obsolete, or non-conforming inventory.Maintain SAP master data related to inventory, including material and storage location accuracy.Serves as a customer contact for all product-related quality and provides information related to customer claims.Ensures compliance with department policies and procedures and applicable laws, rules, and regulations.Other applicable duties assigned by management.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business preferredMinimum of two (2) years’ experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or supply chain environment requiredExperience with SAP (WM, MM, or equivalent) and/or warehouse management systems (WMS) requiredStrong working knowledge of inventory control practices, including cycle counting, reconciliation, and root cause analysisProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); ability to analyze and report data effectivelyStrong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracyAbility to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with competing prioritiesEffective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across operations, customers, and support teamsStrong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and meet deadlinesWillingness to work extended hours as neededCompetenciesBusiness Acumen - Knowledgeable in current and possible future policies, practices, trends, technology, and information affecting his/her business and organization.Communicate for Impact (Individual Contributor) - Proactively communicate with all stakeholders throughout the life cycle of programs and projects.Influencing Others - Can quickly find common ground and can solve problems for the good of the organization with a minimal amount of noise.
