Application Specialist

Job Summary Our Technology Group is seeking an experienced and innovative Application Specialist to support the implementation, maintenance, & optimization of finance-related technology solutions. This role is responsible for ensuring seamless integration and workflows across all solutions, focusing on security, performance, & scalability to ensure technology solutions meet business goals and requirements. Manage technology-based projects including workflow mapping, communicating enhancements and issues to teams, fostering an open dialogue between front-end users & back office. Help users implement technology solutions in a cost-effective way by understanding client needs and communicating clearly to stakeholders, facilitators and partners. Understand business goals, team responsibilities, and processes to successfully test technology enhancements and integrate technology into efficient workflows. Work with business stakeholders and the Technology Department to define scope and objectives to ensure solution projects are in alignment with the strategic goals of the organization. Work closely with security and compliance teams to ensure all technology solutions adhere to required security protocols and regulatory standards. Proactively assess emerging technologies & innovative process improvements Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance to all teams along with troubleshooting complex technical issues as they arise. Accountable for supporting success of both individuals on team and team as a whole. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field 2+ years related experience preferred Understanding of Software Development Life Cycles, requirements gathering, and user interface/interaction design in an enterprise environment preferred Understanding of modern architectures (cloud, microservices, APIs) preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office applications Technical proficiency with a variety of software applications Must be authorized to work in the United States Additional Information Moneta is a fiduciary fee-only Registered Investment Advisory firm and is unable to hold securities licenses with the exception of Series 65. We also do not allow outside business activities, insurance commissions, and/or trails. This is an exempt, full-time salary position reporting to the VP of Enterprise Applications.
