Job Summary

STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking an OpenText Solution Architect on behalf of our client in a Remote location. The ideal candidate will lead the modernization, upgrade, migration, and integration of OpenText platforms with SAP ECC and S/4HANA .

This role requires strong hands-on expertise with OpenText Content Server, xECM for SAP, Archive Server, OTDS, and VIM , along with experience supporting complex enterprise migration and transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead OpenText platform upgrades, modernization, and migration across production and non-production environments.

• Configure and support OpenText Content Server, xECM for SAP, Archive Server, OTDS, and VIM .

• Deploy and configure OpenText solutions within cloud environments .

• Manage content migration, reloading, validation, cutover, and post-migration activities .

• Maintain and validate integrations between OpenText, SAP ECC, and S/4HANA .

• Transition existing ECC integrations and implement S/4HANA-compatible VIM and OpenText add-ons .

• Remediate and validate OpenText workflows, customizations, configurations, interfaces, and integrations .

• Troubleshoot infrastructure and connectivity issues involving DNS, firewalls, reverse proxy, SSL, operating systems, and databases .

• Collaborate with SAP, infrastructure, and application teams during SIT, UAT, cutover, go-live, and production deployment .

• Provide technical leadership, documentation, troubleshooting, and post-migration support.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as an OpenText Solution Architect, Technical Architect, or similar role .

• Strong hands-on expertise with:

  • OpenText Content Server

  • OpenText xECM / xECM for SAP

  • OpenText Archive Server

  • OpenText Directory Services (OTDS)

  • OpenText VIM

• Strong experience with OpenText upgrades, migrations, modernization, and content migration .

• Solid integration experience with SAP ECC and S/4HANA .

• Experience with content migration, reloading, validation, and cutover activities .

• Knowledge of OpenText workflows, customizations, configurations, and interfaces .

• Understanding of infrastructure dependencies, including DNS, IP, firewalls, reverse proxy, SSL, OS, and databases .

• Experience supporting SIT, UAT, go-live, and production deployments .

• Strong technical leadership, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with large-scale OpenText modernization or migration programs .

• Experience working in cloud-based or regulated enterprise environments .

• Knowledge of SAP RISE and S/4HANA transformation environments .

• Strong documentation and cross-functional collaboration skills.

• Successful content migration and reloading .

• Remediated OpenText workflows, customizations, and integrations .

• Validated VIM and OpenText add-ons .

• Successful SIT, UAT, cutover, go-live, and production transition .
