Data Entry Clerk

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and efficient Data Entry Clerk. In this role, you will be the backbone of our customers order processing workflow—accurately capturing repair requests and ensuring they are seamlessly transitioned into actionable job orders. The ideal candidate possesses excellent typing skills, administrative capabilities, and a MicroSoft Office experience. The position is temporary to hire. Pay will be $18/hour.  Position is located in the East End of Louisville and will be 100% in office.

• Software Proficiency: working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (for tracking and data logging) and Microsoft Word (for documentation and correspondence).

• Typing Skills: Fast and highly accurate typing skills to handle a high volume of data entry without errors.

• Organizational Mastery: Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with a proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet daily next-day deadlines.

• Attention to Detail: Ability to catch discrepancies when transferring technical information from a repair request to a final job order.

• Communication: Clear written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with service teams.

Responsibilities

• Order Intake: Receive, review, and accurately document incoming repair orders
• Data Transfer & Workflow Management: Process and transfer daily repair orders into formalized job orders by the next business day to ensure zero delays in service execution.
• Data Entry & Logging: Maintain digital logs of all requests, ensuring all technical details, timelines, and customer notes are correctly recorded.
• File Organization: Keep digital and physical files organized and easily accessible for technicians and management.
