The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with payroll, and supporting the school's day-to-day accounting and financial operations. The ideal candidate is organized, accurate, comfortable working independently, and experienced with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel . Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records. Process and assist with payroll accurately and on schedule. Record financial transactions and maintain appropriate documentation. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable as needed. Process invoices, payments, deposits, and other financial transactions. Perform bank and account reconciliations. Maintain organized bookkeeping and financial files. Track expenses and assist with financial reporting. Review records for accuracy and resolve discrepancies. Utilize QuickBooks for day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting functions. Prepare and maintain spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel. Communicate with school administration regarding financial matters as needed. Maintain confidentiality when handling financial and employee information. Assist with additional bookkeeping and administrative responsibilities as needed. Qualifications Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience required . Payroll processing experience required . Proficiency in QuickBooks . Proficiency in Microsoft Excel . Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and recordkeeping skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and deadlines.
