Accounts Receivable Specialist

Kforce's client in the Milwaukee area is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist. This specialist will provide financial and administrative support to the finance team. This position will ensure that all invoices are paid and resolve customer account discrepancies. A strong customer centricity is required. This position reports to the Accounts Receivable Supervisor. Responsibilities Handles debt collections, contacting customers via email and phone Provides customer service as the first point of contact to resolve customer account discrepancies Manages shared accounts receivable email and voicemail Accepts and processes customer payments by check, ACH transfer, and credit card payments Gathers credit information, such as D·B reports and references, for review Reviews customer credit applications and grants payment terms Creates electronic invoicing through customer portals Performs other projects and responsibilities as assigned by the Accounts Receivable Supervisor Requirements Associate degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite of Products Experience with accounting software systems, Business Central in particular, a plus Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational skills Desire to work within a strong team environment as well as the ability to work independently The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
