Associate Director, Sales Operations

Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Associate Director, Field Operations to lead and optimize field-facing operational strategy and infrastructure supporting the build out of a high-performing Commercial field team to support a brand launch. This role drives compliant, efficient, and insight-driven field operations across the Hematology Franchise and plays a critical part in ensuring operational readiness for product launches and ongoing field excellence initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute field operations strategy aligned to commercial and medical objectivesOversee field technology platforms (CRM, roster systems, reporting tools) in partnership with ITLead territory design, roster management, and alignment processes to ensure compliant coverage modelsCoordinate onboarding operations with Training, HR, and ComplianceDirect field reporting, dashboards, KPI tracking, and business insightsEnsure all field processes meet FDA, OIG, and corporate compliance standardsDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance scalability, efficiency, and qualityPartner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Medical, Compliance, IT, HR, Legal, and FinanceQualificationsQualificationsBachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred8–12+ years of experience in Field, Commercial, or Sales Operations within biotech or pharmaceuticalsStrong knowledge of FDA, OIG, and industry compliance standardsExperience with CRM platforms (e.g., Veeva), field analytics, and alignment technologiesDemonstrated leadership and ability to influence cross-functional stakeholdersPreferredExperience supporting product launches in small–mid-size biotech environmentsPrior people management experienceStrong analytical and project management skillsExperience building SOPs, governance frameworks, and scalable operational infrastructureThis is a high-impact leadership opportunity for a strategic operator who thrives in fast-paced, evolving biotech environments and is passionate about enabling field team success.Additional InformationDeciphera is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary pay range for this role is $167,000 - $230,000. Actual compensation packages will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to depth of experience, education, skillset, overall performance and/or location.​Deciphera believes in providing a competitive compensation and benefits package to all employees.
