Registered Nurse – Med/Surg Telemetry

Schedule: - Shift: Nights - 12HR: 7P-7A - Hours: 36 and 48 hours available per week - Weekend Requirement: 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend - Holiday Requirement: Must work at least 1 holiday per contract

Assignment Details: - Contract Duration: 16 weeks - Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Requirements: - Active NY RN license - AHA BLS certification - 1 year recent experience in acute med surg/tele - 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non U.S. candidates - Preferred: 2 years recent experience in acute med surg/tele - Experience with EPIC charting

Roles & Responsibilities: - Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a Med/Surg Tele environment. - Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans. - Educate patients and families on health management and preventative care strategies. - Maintain accurate and comprehensive electronic health records.

Compliance / Notes: - Must be flexible according to the needs of the facility's schedule. - Required to float to other units if needed. - Must be willing to work charge. - Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
