Responsibilities

Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

• Review contractor baseline schedules to ensure alignment with program milestones, contractual requirements, and overall project objectives.
• Facilitate project and activity sequencing meetings, incorporating priorities, material availability, outage windows, and operational constraints.
• Provide strategic and forward‐looking guidance, helping teams evaluate alternatives and plan for the development of power generation and distribution systems.
• Ensure compliance with local and federal codes, applying technical knowledge to maintain safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Participate in project design meetings with clients, technical leads, consultants, agencies, and contractors for transmission and distribution electrical system projects.

Requirements

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in power systems and construction management.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in engineering principles, construction management practices, and utility‐scale electrical systems.
• Strong scheduling, coordination, and negotiation skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with demonstrated leadership and time‐management skills.
• Fully bilingual (Spanish/English).
• Curiosity and interest in continuous learning in AI and comfort experimenting and iterating quickly; uses data to validate ideas and measure impact.
• Commitment to ethical and responsible AI adoption, including privacy-by-design and safe use of tools.
