Job Title: MEP Coordinator

Essential Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or a related construction field.

• At least 3 years of experience coordinating MEP and Fire Protection systems on commercial construction projects.

• Proficiency in Revit for MEP coordination and model review.

• Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical distribution, lighting and controls, plumbing, fire protection, and building automation systems.

• Ability to read, interpret, and coordinate construction drawings, specifications, and submittals.

• Experience leading coordination meetings and resolving technical issues with diverse project stakeholders.

Job Description

The MEP Coordinator oversees the coordination of all Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems throughout the project lifecycle on commercial construction projects. This role works closely with project teams and trade partners to ensure systems are well-coordinated, constructible, code-compliant, and successfully commissioned. The position offers the opportunity to grow into a key leadership role within the BIM/VDC department.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Rapids, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.06 - $40.87/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
