Production Technician

Position Overview As a Production Technician at the Findlay plant, you will be part of a production crew reporting to a supervisor. Your primary responsibility is to observe operating principles of equipment and follow standard operating procedures to support plant production goals. The plant operates on a 12‑hour shift schedule (4 days on/4 days off) with rotating day and night shifts. Key Responsibilities Follow 5S standards and all job safety practices, including food safety, PPE, and emergency procedures. Operate, adjust, and repair high‑speed production equipment to meet plant production goals. Assist with preventative maintenance on assigned equipment. Inspect aluminum for proper quality standards and customer specifications. Build positive relationships across the team through collaboration, communication, and ethical integrity. Required Experience And Skills High School Diploma or equivalent. At least 1 year of experience in a mechanical or related field with demonstrated mechanical troubleshooting skills. Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools. Preferred Experience And Skills 2+ years’ experience in a high‑speed manufacturing environment. Physical Environment And Working Conditions Hot and cold working conditions. Loud or noisy environment. Standing and walking for prolonged periods. Climbing (stairs and other equipment) as necessary. Compensation & Benefits Starting hourly rate: $32.40, adjusted based on education, experience, and market data. Eligibility to participate in the annual incentive compensation plan.
