We are looking for a Human Resources (HR) Generalist to support day-to-day HR operations for a construction-focused organization in Ontario, California. This role is ideal for someone who can balance employee support, compliance awareness, and administrative accuracy while working in a busy, team-oriented environment. The successful candidate will bring sound judgment, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple HR priorities with professionalism and care.

Responsibilities:

• Support core human resources activities, including onboarding, employee relations, benefits coordination, and general HR administration.

• Maintain accurate employee records and assist with HRIS updates, reporting, and document management.

• Help ensure workplace practices align with applicable employment laws, internal policies, and federal and state regulatory requirements.

• Partner with managers and staff to address workplace questions, resolve routine employee concerns, and promote consistent HR practices.

• Contribute to hiring and talent evaluation efforts by assisting with candidate assessments, interview coordination, and related processes.

• Prepare HR-related communications, presentations, and reports using Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Organize and prioritize multiple assignments in a fast-paced setting while maintaining close attention to detail and confidentiality.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support HR initiatives and improve employee experience across the organization.

• At least 2 year of human resources experience, including prior exposure to HR Generalist responsibilities.

• Working knowledge of HR policies, employee relations practices, and employment law requirements.

• Ability to analyze information, solve problems effectively, and manage several priorities at once.

• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with effective listening abilities.

• Experience using HR systems and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Sound judgment, high ethical standards, and a strong commitment to accuracy and continuous improvement.

• Fluency in both English and Spanish.

• Bachelor’s degree or other post-secondary education preferred; equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
