Mindful Intentions, Pllc., is currently seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist to join our Mind-& Body Connections Program. In this role, you will deliver exceptional massage therapy services designed to promote relaxation, alleviate pain, and enhance overall well-being for our diverse clientele. Your expertise in various massage techniques, combined with your dedication to patient care and customer service, will contribute to a calming and healing environment that encourages clients to utilize ongoing relaxation practice to help with stress management. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on clients’ whole-body health while working in a supportive, professional setting.

Duties

• Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical massage to address individual client needs.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand specific concerns, medical history, and treatment goals.
• Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for ongoing health maintenance.
• Maintain detailed records of each session, including treatment plans and client progress notes.
• Ensure a safe and hygienic environment by adhering to all health regulations and sanitation protocols.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences, explain procedures, and provide personalized care.
• Stay informed about current trends in occupational health, physiotherapy, and med spa treatments to continually enhance service quality.

Qualifications

• Valid licensure as a Massage Therapist or Bodywork Therapist in accordance with state or local regulations.
• Proven experience in massage therapy with a strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology.
• Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) is required for safety compliance.
• Expertise in various massage techniques including Swedish massage, deep tissue therapy, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and pain management strategies.
• Strong client communication skills with the ability to assess patient needs accurately and deliver tailored treatments.
• Experience working in med spa settings or occupational health environments is preferred.
• Knowledge of patient service principles combined with excellent customer service skills to ensure a positive client experience.
