Iron Casting Production Specialist, Hydronic Systems

This role is with WM Technologies, LLC (an affiliate of SPX Enterprises, LLC), the manufacturer and seller of Weil‑McLain® hydronic heating systems serving residential, commercial, and institutional markets since 1881.

Support end‑to‑end foundry production for boiler components—from core assembly to mold closing, pouring, and post‑cast finishing—while operating cranes, forklifts, and molding equipment to keep production on schedule and within quality and safety standards.

• Core & Mold: Assemble, inspect, and finish cores; locate/install core boxes and rollover plates; perform pattern changes and core repairs; set chaplets and cores; close molds, clamp flasks, and pour accurately; keep core areas organized.
• Casting & Finishing: Open molds; extract and degate castings; transfer to cleaning/knockout; sort and scrap defects; operate blast equipment to remove excess iron/debris; shake out flasks; stack and complete hook changes; assist with cleanup and preparation.
• Equipment & Setup: Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and molding machinery; inspect/adjust sand systems, flasks, squeeze boards, and mold conditions; set up work areas and production floors; perform forklift/equipment inspections; move and store materials/tools; carry out additional tasks to sustain continuous operations.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to compute basic material calculations.
• Comfort in a demanding manufacturing environment; prior manufacturing/foundry experience preferred.

• Lift 50–75 lbs; stand, bend, and lift for extended periods.
• Consistent use of PPE and safe practices around machinery and potential chemicals.
