Lead Product Manager - Computer Vision Solutions

Job Description We are seeking a Principal Product Manager - Computer Vision to play a crucial role in transforming abstract ideas into scalable enterprise solutions in Computer Vision. Reporting to the VP of AI, you will steer the strategy and roadmap for our core Computer Vision Platform. Your leadership will be key in collaborating with internal product leaders to articulate platform requirements and drive the integration of central AI models and foundational infrastructure throughout Motorola's product ecosystem. You will oversee product management for our cloud and edge AI platforms, ensuring that our AI investments yield measurable improvements for both customers and the business. This role will also have product ownership for specific end-to-end computer vision innovations. Key Responsibilities Platform Product Strategy & Roadmap: Develop and communicate the vision and roadmap for the Computer Vision Platform, ensuring it aligns with the overall goals of Motorola Solutions. Internal Partner Management & Alignment: Act as the primary leader for the platform, engaging with internal teams to gather insights into their computer vision requirements, defining necessary platform features, and fostering adoption of platform services. Product Definition & Requirements: Produce high-quality Market Requirements Documents (MRDs), Product Requirements Documents (PRDs), and user stories that capture essential platform functionalities. AI Model Lifecycle Ownership: Manage the lifecycle of central, reusable computer vision models and foundational AI infrastructure, overseeing the journey from ideation through deployment and beyond. Platform Success Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the health and success of the platform, driving improvements based on customer and business outcomes. Market & Customer Insights: Engage in market research and competitive analysis to explore new opportunities, validate concepts, and guide strategic decisions regarding product development. Qualifications & Experience 10+ years of experience in product management, particularly in AI/ML or complex technical environments. Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of computer vision and machine learning, including the MLOps lifecycle and challenges related to building and deploying AI infrastructure. Product Strategy & Metrics: Proven ability to define and execute product visions, strategies, and success metrics. Exceptional analytical skills with experience in AI performance metrics and real-time video processing. Leadership: Demonstrated capability to influence leaders and communicate complex ideas effectively. Customer-centric mindset with a history of fostering relationships and conducting thorough discovery processes. Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with public safety and security-focused software is advantageous. Target Base Salary Range $220,000 - $250,000 USD. Salary varies based on knowledge, skills, and experience.
