Data Analyst - Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Data Analyst for a Hybrid position with a Major Financial Institution located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 6 month contract opportunity.

We are seeking a mid-level to senior Data Analyst to support the Cyber Data Operations team on projects for the Enterprise Information Protection (EIP) programs. This individual will be adept at analyzing data sources, creating technical requirements, and scrubbing data from upstream source systems. The role involves working closely with both stakeholders and data development teams to understand data sources being loaded for Data Security, DLP, and Encryption programs.

Responsibilities:

• Gather and organize data from internal systems, spreadsheets, and reports
• Analyze trends, patterns, and business performance using Excel or BI tools
• Work with stakeholders and data development teams to understand data sources being loaded into the CyberDW

Requirements:

• Senior level experience (10 years) as a Data Analyst
• Adept at analyzing data sources, creating technical requirements, and scrubbing data from upstream source systems
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret data in a business context
• Effective communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Able to work a hybrid schedule, based in the New Jersey office but willing to travel to New York City for meetings

Desired skills:

• Exposure to SQL and relational databases
• Proficiency in Python
• Understanding of the EIP data space and knowledge of encryption, Data Security and DLP tools (Proofpoint, Varonis, MS Purview, CyberArk, Venafi, AKV)

Pay range up to: $61.52 per hour
