Physician Psychiatry - Competitive Salary

Job DescriptionOutpatient clinic has exciting openings for a BC/BE Psychiatrist who is experienced working with the underserved population in a fast paced clinic setting. Psychiatrists here have a great support structure & only a few days a year on-call (via phone). \n\n\n\n Mon-Fri, 8-5 10-7 on Tuesdays but could be flexible on the day.\n Adult patients\n PMHNP on site and 3 therapists\n Fazing out adult stimulant management until the group ramps up Psychiatry staff then it will be fazed back in to maintain patient safety standards\n All employees start with 15 days of vacation per year, which increases in increments with tenure. We also provide 3 days of personal leave, 6 days of sick leave, and 7 days of holiday leave per year\n Opportunities to earn additional bonuses exist and they are based on quality, service, and stewardship metrics.\n Reimbursement of provider's professional licensing fee and annual membership dues to their professional organization, once an established provider.\n Opportunity to teach mental health interns and/or medical students and become an appointed faculty member at Texas A&M School of Medicine.\n Eligible for student loan repayment through external federal and state loan repayment programs for mental health professionals.\n\n\nThe ideal candidates are:\n\n\n\n mission-focused\n flexible with their time, work locations, and ability to provide coverage while working within a group practice\n proactive\n creative in problem-solving approaches\n quality focused\n see the provision of services to under-served populations as part of their career goals\n comfortable working with a population who may have limited psycho-social resources\n\nSalary range: $211K-$440K with most averaging $375K-$440K seeing 15-17 patients per day.\n\n\nProvide appropriate behavioral health services for patients of all ages, from seniors and adults to adolescents and children. Employ a range of mental health professionals, including child and adolescent, adult, and psychiatrists specializing in geriatric mental health.
