Vice President of Global Operations

Be the Founder's right hand and build the operating system for a company going live in more than 100 cities. Globeia is hiring its first VP of Operations in Washington, DC.

• Location: Washington, DC office
• Reports to: Founder and CEO
• Team: Operations and customer service managers in India, plus the Toronto and US teams
• Base salary: $150,000 to $190,000
• Bonus: 15% to 20% of base, tied to operating targets
• Travel: India at least 3 times a year, Toronto 2 to 3 times a year

About Globeia

Globeia helps people move across borders. We handle the paperwork that every international move depends on: fingerprinting, police clearances such as FBI and RCMP checks, apostille and authentication, and document translation. Visa services are next.

We were founded in 2020 and are fully bootstrapped. Today we have 10 offices across the US, Canada, the UK, Europe, Australia and India, and fingerprinting live in 65 cities. By December 2026 we will be in more than 100 cities.Growth like that needs someone who can make it run smoothly everywhere at once. That is this role.

The role

You will be the Founder's right hand, responsible for how Globeia runs day to day across every country we operate in. You will lead the operations and customer service managers in India and work closely with our teams in Toronto and the US. You will visit each location in person, see how the work is really done and fix what is not working. This is a build role. You start from the ground up: set the KPIs, design the systems and create the structure that lets us expand worldwide. Over the coming year you will hire and lead regional managers across four regions.

You will work directly with the Founder and CEO and have real authority to make changes.

What you will do

• Run day to day operations for the US and Canada, and oversee operations and customer service in India.
• Set KPIs for every manager and review them on a regular schedule.
• Build the systems, processes and reporting that let us launch and run new cities without chaos.
• Travel to India and Toronto to work with the teams in person and keep quality high.
• Hire and lead regional managers across four regions as we expand in 2027.
• Keep turnaround times, service quality and customer satisfaction on target everywhere.
• Act on the Founder's behalf with the teams and bring back a clear picture of what is happening on the ground.

What you bring

• 8 or more years in operations, with experience leading teams across more than one location.
• Experience managing managers, not only individual contributors.
• You have built systems and KPIs from scratch in a growing company.
• Experience working with teams in India or other international locations.
• Flexible hours. Your teams sit in several time zones, so expect some early morning or evening calls.
• Readiness to travel internationally 5 to 6 times a year.
• Clear, direct communication and the judgment to act without waiting to be told.

Experience in customer service operations, global mobility, immigration, background screening or other regulated services is a plus, not a requirement.

Compensation and location

Base salary is $150,000 to $190,000, depending on experience, plus an annual bonus of 15% to 20% tied to operating targets.
