Data Analyst (Remote) Contract Duration: 4 months (possible extension) Location: Remote Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM EST/CST preferred Job Overvie wWe are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analys t to support an ongoing project. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, advanced Excel capabilities, and the ability to transform data into meaningful business insights .In this role, you will work closely with the Hiring Manager and a team of data analysts to manage data, develop reports, identify trends, and support process improvement initiatives. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to present the story behind the data to business stakeholders .Key Responsibilitie sPerform data analysis to support business decisions and operational improvements .Aggregate, clean, validate, and organize data from multiple sources .Create and maintain reports using business intelligence and reporting tools .Perform data mining and identify insights to support operations, including laboratory equipment maintenance activities .Develop ad hoc reports and analyze structured and unstructured data .Ensure data quality, accuracy, and integrity across reporting sources .Present data findings and communicate insights effectively to stakeholders .Support process improvement initiatives and recommend enhancements .Assist with vendor management activities when needed .Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve existing processes and workflows .Required Qualification s4–7 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or business analytics .Strong experience with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite .Experience with data management, reporting, data validation, and data quality .Ability to analyze information, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations .Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail .Ability to manage multiple priorities and complete tasks with a sense of urgency .Excellent verbal and written communication skills .Ability to explain findings and "tell the story of the data.
