Business Development Manager

Our portfolio includes gyros, specialty meats, pitas, flatbreads, tzatziki, hummus, spreads, falafel, ready‑to‑eat and plant‑based proteins, and value‑added bakery products, serving over 400 foodservice distributors and 30,000 restaurants nationwide. Conscious Leadership: Lead with awareness, kindness, and courage. Competitive Spirit: Play to win. Responsibilities Manage and build the North Carolina region in sales and profits. Set a strategic sales plan for the region based on company objectives. Establish strong relationships with existing customers, distributors, and end users. Prospect for new business opportunities. Participate in key food shows to acquire new customers and deepen relationships with current customers. Train distributor sales teams. Conduct distributor and operator sales calls with brokers. Act as a liaison with the company’s customer care department to resolve equipment, product, lead‑time, pricing, and other related issues. Investigate and resolve customer product quality issues. Negotiate marketing programs with distributors favorably. Analyze customer product mix versus spending to identify ways to increase profit margin. Develop and pursue top‑line pipeline account targets. Update CRM daily. Core Competencies Relationship Building Business Development Business Acumen Leadership Communication Skills – Verbal and written Decision Making Background / Qualifications BS or BA preferred. 1–3 years of business development and/or sales experience in the food‑service industry. Experience in distributor and end‑user development. Must reside in a major metropolitan area in Charlotte, North Carolina.
