Software Engineer 4 / ServiceNow Lead Software Engineer (Vulnerability Response)

Location: Charlotte, NC / McLean, VA / Minneapolis, MN / San Antonio, TX / Chandler, AZ – Hybrid (3 days onsite)

Pay Rate: $69 - $74

Top Requirements:

1. 5+ years of ServiceNow development experience with strong platform customization and scripting expertise
2. ServiceNow CSA (System Administrator) and CAD (Application Developer) certifications (required)
3. Experience with Service-Oriented Architecture and web technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL)

Plusses:

1. Experience with ServiceNow Vulnerability Response (VR) and related certifications
2. Experience with integrations (REST/SOAP APIs) and security tools (Qualys, Wiz, NVD, Phosphorus)
3. Experience with AngularJS or React frameworks
4. Experience with Agile delivery and micro-certifications (ATF, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub)
5. Experience in cybersecurity or vulnerability management environments

Job Summary:

In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering. Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables. Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Lead design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow Vulnerability Response (VR) solutions
• Configure and customize ServiceNow applications using scripting (JavaScript, GlideScript)
• Build workflows and automate business processes within the ServiceNow platform
• Develop and maintain integrations with external cybersecurity tools and platforms
• Lead complex initiatives and act as escalation point for platform issues
• Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with enterprise standards
• Collaborate with governance, architecture, and engineering teams
• Perform coding, testing, debugging, and documentation of ServiceNow solutions
• Manage deployment activities and coordinate with platform engineering teams
• Support production environments with L3 troubleshooting and incident resolution
• Create and maintain technical documentation in Confluence
• Participate in Agile delivery processes and contribute to sprint execution
