Plaintiff Employment Law Attorney Position Overview : We are seeking an experienced associate attorney specializing in labor and employment to join our growing team in Sacramento, CA. This role is ideal for a plaintiff-side employment attorney who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to take on complex cases involving wage and hour disputes, class actions, PAGA claims, and employment-related litigation. Generous commission structure on top of base pay, providing significant earning potential!

Key Responsibilities :

Stay up to date on federal, state, and local employment laws and industry trends.
Collaborate with clients and legal teams to develop and pursue wage and hour class actions and other employment-related cases.
Draft pleadings, complaints, discovery, and motions for state and federal courts.
Conduct legal research and present arguments in motions and hearings.
Oversee mediation and court approval processes, including drafting and arguing preliminary and final approval motions.
Handle employment disputes, including wrongful termination and discrimination claims.
Participate in mediations, including second-chair opportunities for class action cases

Qualifications :

JD from an accredited law school and active California State Bar membership.
3-5 years off employment law experience preferred
Exceptional legal writing, research, and advocacy skills.
Ability to manage multiple cases independently and collaboratively.
Experience with case management software and Microsoft Office.
