Controller Opportunity

This opportunity is with a rapidly growing company in the CNC/machine tool space that is expanding through a newly launched business unit. They offer a culture that supports growth, fosters success, and promotes a collaborative, team-oriented environment with strong visibility to leadership.
This position is a direct-hire, full-time role working in office in Tempe, AZ.
Controller Responsibilities:
- Financial Leadership: Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including month-end close, reporting, and maintaining accurate financial data.
- Process & Systems Development: Establish and improve accounting processes, workflows, and system integrations across ERP/CRM platforms.
- Order & Operational Support: Support the full lifecycle from quote to order to revenue, including coordination with sales, service, and logistics.
- Data & Reporting Management: Ensure accuracy across financial data, work orders, and system reporting to support business decisions.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Work closely with leadership and operations to bring structure, improve processes, and support ongoing growth.
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8am - 5pm
Controller Requirements:
- 5+ years of accounting/finance experience (Controller, Accounting Manager, or similar level)
- Experience in a small to mid-sized company environment with hands-on responsibilities
- ERP and accounting systems experience
- Experience with work order, job costing, or similar in a service or manufacturing environment
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to build and improve processes
Pay: $100,000 - $120,000 Competitive annual bonus
