About the Position Join our Rehab Team as an Occupational Therapist working in Acute Care. This position may be filled by either an Occupational Therapist (OT) or a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). Responsibilities Provide client-centered occupational therapy across preventive, acute, and rehabilitative care. Support individuals’ physical, cognitive, psychosocial, and sensory needs to promote independence, well-being, and meaningful participation in daily life. In a consultative role, assist with mental health screening, assessment, and care coordination—helping patients maximize function and reduce the need for higher levels of care. This role spans preventive, acute, and rehabilitative care, focusing on building independence, preventing decline, and reducing the need for more intensive services while delivering compassionate, high-quality therapy. Qualifications Graduate of an occupational therapist Bachelor's, Master’s or Doctorate accredited degree program. Current, active Occupational Therapist License in Colorado or a permit from the licensing board while awaiting licensure exam. Current CPR Certification.
