Scope

\n

The Oracle Cloud Functional Analyst will serve as the primary functional and technical resource for Oracle Fusion Cloud Cash Management, Payments, and Fixed Assets. The role supports global banking, payment processing, bank reconciliation, and asset accounting and partners closely with Treasury, Accounts Payable, Accounting, Tax, Finance, banks, and IT. Responsibilities span requirements, solution design, configuration, payment-file development, testing, deployment, production support, controls, documentation, continuous improvement, and knowledge transfer.

Key Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Own day-to-day support and configuration for Oracle Cloud Cash Management, including banks, branches, internal bank accounts, transaction codes, reconciliation rules, tolerances, statement imports, cash positioning, and reconciliation exceptions. Support BAI2, CAMT, MT940, and other bank-statement formats.
\n
• Administer Oracle Payments and AP payment processing, including payment methods, payment process profiles, disbursement accounts, payment documents, payment-system accounts, approvals, and controls.
\n
• Support domestic and international electronic payments, including ACH, BACS, SEPA Credit Transfer, and domestic/international wires. Troubleshoot payment requests, rejected payments, bank validation errors, formatting issues, and transmission failures.
\n
• Design, configure, and maintain BI Publisher/XML payment templates and bank-specific payment files. Interpret bank implementation guides and support ISO 20022, including applicable pain.001 and payment-status messages. Coordinate secure transmission through SFTP, host-to-host, banking portals, middleware, or approved methods.
\n
• Lead end-to-end payment testing and bank certification, including domestic, international, multicurrency, high-value, urgent, and exception payments. Maintain payment mappings, specifications, and configuration documentation.
\n
• Own functional support for Oracle Cloud Fixed Assets, including corporate/tax books, asset categories, depreciation methods, calendars, prorate conventions, accounting setups, additions, capitalization, transfers, reclassifications, retirements, impairments, and depreciation.
\n
• Support month-, quarter-, and year-end asset close; run and validate depreciation and Create Accounting; reconcile Fixed Assets to General Ledger; and resolve mass-addition, accounting, depreciation, and reconciliation issues.
\n
• Support integrations across Cash Management, Payments, Fixed Assets, AP, GL, Procurement, Projects, and external banking systems. Partner with technical teams on Oracle Integration Cloud, REST APIs, file-based integrations, BI Publisher, and scheduled processes.
\n
• Maintain appropriate security and financial controls, including least privilege, segregation of duties, user-access reviews, bank-account governance, payment approvals, sensitive-access reviews, audit support, and controlled production changes.
\n
• Gather requirements, translate business/banking needs into functional and technical designs, configure and test enhancements, coordinate SIT/UAT/bank testing, support Oracle quarterly updates, and serve as an escalation point for complex production issues.
\n
• Maintain configuration workbooks, solution designs, process flows, integration/payment specifications, operating procedures, troubleshooting guides, and training materials. Lead knowledge transfer and reduce reliance on external consultants.

Required Qualifications

\n

\n
• 5+ years supporting or implementing Oracle Financials applications, including 3+ years of hands-on Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials experience.
\n
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Cash Management, Oracle Payments, and Oracle Fixed Assets.
\n
• Demonstrated experience configuring and supporting ACH, BACS, SEPA, wire payments, bank-statement reconciliation, payment methods/process profiles, bank accounts, reconciliation rules, asset books/categories, and depreciation methods.
\n
• Experience developing, configuring, or supporting BI Publisher payment templates and bank-specific payment formats.
\n
• Strong understanding of banking operations, payment processing, cash reconciliation, asset accounting, depreciation, Subledger Accounting, and financial-close processes.
\n
• Proven ability to troubleshoot payment-file, bank-integration, reconciliation, asset-accounting, and SLA issues and to work effectively with Treasury, AP, Accounting, Tax, IT, auditors, banks, and external providers.

Preferred Qualifications

\n

\n
• Experience with Oracle AP, GL, Procurement, Projects, and Subledger Accounting.
\n
• Knowledge of ISO 20022, XML/XSL/XSLT, BAI2, CAMT, MT940, Oracle Integration Cloud, REST APIs, SFTP, and host-to-host banking connections.
\n
• Experience supporting U.S., U.K., and EU banking requirements, multicurrency/cross -border payments, regulatory payment data, M&A, new legal entities, bank transitions, or global system rollouts.
\n
• Knowledge of payment fraud prevention, financial controls, bank-account governance, and segregation of duties; Oracle Financials Cloud certification preferred.
