Tax Manager Opportunity San Rafael, CA Area
Position Overview:
- Oversee diverse tax and accounting engagements, managing complex projects with minimal supervision.
- Review work prepared by others, providing actionable feedback to ensure quality deliverables.
- Supervise, mentor, and train junior staff to foster professional growth.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities to expand services.
- Conduct complex tax research and ensure compliance with GAAP and auditing standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in accounting, tax, or related field; valid CPA license required (EA not accepted).
- 5+ years of progressive public accounting experience.
- Proficiency in tax software (e.g., Lacerte/ProSystems FX) and Excel; strong tax law knowledge.
- Excellent communication, time management, and multitasking skills.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship; background check required.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base salary: $125K$135K annually.
- Additional bonuses: $10K$13K (FIP Program) and $8K$10K (PMP Program), prorated first year.
