Work Environment

Working onsite at our clinic, you will be part of a close-knit team that consists of two seasoned physical therapists and a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). The clinic is open Monday through Friday with flexible shift options available, either from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm or 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, enabling you to maintain a work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions and establish personalized treatment goals.
• Administer one-on-one therapy sessions, ensuring focused attention on each patient's needs during their scheduled hour.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to enhance mobility, improve range of motion, and boost overall functional ability.
• Create individualized treatment plans that incorporate manual therapy techniques, therapeutic modalities, and customized exercise programs.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary healthcare providers, including physicians and occupational therapists, to support comprehensive patient care.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress and treatment outcomes, ensuring accurate clinical records are maintained.
• Advocate for non-invasive treatment options, promoting patient education to reduce reliance on medications.
• Encourage and motivate patients to achieve their physical goals, thereby enhancing their overall health and well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves patients with various orthopedic conditions, from sports injuries to post-surgical rehabilitation. As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will work with a diverse range of individuals, tailored to boost not just their physical health, but also their emotional and mental well-being, promoting holistic recovery paths.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from a CAPTE-accredited program.
• Current and valid state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A clean professional record with demonstrated experience in outpatient orthopedic therapy.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and in developing suitable exercise protocols for varied conditions.
• Familiarity with EMR software, particularly WebPT, to manage treatment documentation effectively.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting with a focus on sports medicine and rehabilitation.
• Advanced coursework or certification in manual therapy techniques.
• Previous involvement in collaborative healthcare teams that enhance service delivery.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
