An employer-paid health insurance premium for the employee with a possible option to add family members to plan at your own expense A 401(k) Safe Harbor plan Quarterly bonuses based on collections and a holiday EOY bonus opportunity Firm-paid CLEs and Arizona Bar membership Remote work flexibility - We like to meet once per week in person if possible Responsibilities: Handle criminal and civil litigation matters from inception through resolution Appear in court virtually and in person on a regular basis Manage a small, high-quality caseload with significant client interaction Support the Managing Partner on active litigation matters Draft motions, pleadings, and legal memoranda Participate in strategy discussions and motion roundtables Report regularly to the Managing Partner regarding case status and developments Conduct legal research utilizing modern legal technology and AI tools Build strong relationships with clients and provide exceptional legal representation Requirements: A J.D. degree and an active Arizona Bar license 2+ years of criminal and/or civil litigation experience Strong courtroom experience and confidence appearing before judges An ability to independently manage cases and prioritize competing deadlines Interest in business development and community involvement An ability to bill a minimum of 30 hours per week Strong legal writing, analytical, and advocacy skills A self-starter who is comfortable taking initiative and diving into complex cases Bonus Experience: Experience as a Federal or State Public Defender, Assistant United States Attorney, Assistant Attorney General, or Deputy County Attorney Experience using Clio Experience utilizing AI tools for legal research and workflow efficiency Understanding of cryptocurrency-related matters Please note that this job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position and is not representative of all responsibilities, duties, and skills required.
