We are seeking a full-time speech therapist SLP/CCC to join our team who is a dynamic clinician and team player to join our speech department at Bristol.

Sign on bonus $1500.00

Our facility offers a supportive environment with a compassionate rehab team which is led by an experienced director of rehabilitation. The rehab department utilizes Net Health-Therapy and Point Click Care for billing and documentation to assist speech therapists with daily efficiency where quality care remains the primary focus of each therapist. The facility offers a 6-day a week, in-house comprehensive rehabilitation program where the speech therapist/speech language pathologist is an integral member of the interdisciplinary team. Our rehab positions are stable and secure at one location. Each rehab department offers a spacious gym.

Speech therapist job summary

•Speech therapist conducts screenings of residents as scheduled to determine the need for ST evaluation and/or ST intervention.

•Speech therapist evaluates residents per physician orders to obtain comprehensive data to be utilized in developing the ST plan of care for swallowing, communication and/or cognition.

•Speech therapist provides speech therapy treatment to residents when indicated per the ST plan of care.

•Speech therapist actively engage and contribute to the success of the rehab department, IDT and facility success.

Speech therapist job qualifications

•Minimum of masters in speech language pathology from an accredited program

•A current Florida speech therapy pathology license

•Excellent written and verbal communication skills

•Excellent organizational and time management skills

•Must be computer/tech savvy.

•Experience with swallowing disorders and bedside swallow evaluation
