As a Security Officer Entry Monitor in Myrtle Beach, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a retail and mall location, you will manage entry points, verify authorized access, monitor activity, and provide exceptional customer service. You will document security-related activity, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license under Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements. Pay Rate: $17.20 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access credentials, and maintain visitor, contractor, and/or delivery records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of retail common areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unauthorized access and report unusual conditions.
• Communicate professionally with site management, retail personnel, and the public while helping to maintain orderly access throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
