JOB TITLE: Nursing Supervisor I

STATUS: Full-time, Exempt

REPORTS TO: Executive Director

LOCATION: On-site in San Juan Capistrano, CA

Compensation: $72,000-$78,000 annually.

About the Role

The Nursing Supervisor I is a key clinical leader responsible for overseeing a regional nursing team, including LVN/LPNs, CMAs, and Medical Coordinators. This role ensures the delivery of safe, effective, and compliant care across multiple residential settings, while upholding AMFM Healthcare's standards of ethics, quality, and patient-centered treatment.

You'll partner closely with clinical, medical, and operations teams to support our mission of delivering exceptional care to adults navigating mental health challenges.

What You'll Do

• Lead, supervise, and develop a multidisciplinary nursing team across multiple facilities
• Oversee scheduling, timekeeping, performance management, and staff development
• Ensure all clients receive care and medications as prescribed, with accurate documentation and auditing
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA, accreditation standards, and AMFM policies
• Conduct assessments, oversee medication management, and support infection control practices
• Collaborate with regional providers and internal teams to coordinate comprehensive client care
• Monitor clinical documentation and uphold the integrity of the electronic health record (EHR) system
• Serve as an on-call resource for nursing and medical teams within the region

What We're Looking For

• Active Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in California
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in a psychiatric or behavioral health setting
• Strong leadership experience supervising nursing or medical support staff
• Knowledge of clinical operations, medication management, and regulatory compliance
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• CPR/First Aid Certification and current TB clearance
• Valid driver's license with insurability per company policy
