Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact working with students from PreK through 12th grade, providing direct and collaborative services as part of a dedicated educational team. You'll enjoy a full-time schedule (37.5 hours/week) for the duration of the academic year, starting in August and running through early June.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active, current North Carolina Physical Therapy license
• Demonstrated experience delivering school-based PT services
• Familiarity with ECATS required
• Comfortable working with a diverse student population across multiple grades
• Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

• Assess and address students’ functional mobility and physical needs, developing individualized therapy plans in partnership with educators and families
• Deliver direct PT interventions and consults in accordance with IEPs and district programs
• Accurately document sessions, progress, and outcomes using ECATS
• Support classroom staff and teachers with adaptive strategies and equipment recommendations
• Participate in IEP meetings and team consultations, advocating for student growth and success
