Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Social Services Director to join our team in Northampton, MA. As a Social Services Director, you will play a vital role in overseeing the social services department and ensuring the highest level of care for our patients. Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and management to the social services department, including supervision of social workers, counselors, and other support staff

• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards

• Collaborate with healthcare teams to identify patient needs and develop personalized care plans

• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide counseling services to patients and their families

• Facilitate referrals to community resources and services to support patient care

• Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making recommendations for improvement

• Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field (or equivalent experience)

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a leadership or management role

• Strong knowledge of social work principles, theories, and best practices

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound judgments and decisions
