Production Associate – Day & Night Shifts

Location: Conover, NC

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: 2-2-3 Schedule

Shifts:

• **Day Shift: **6:00 AM – 6:10 PM
• **Night Shift: **6:00 PM – 6:10 AM
• Hiring Multiple Candidates

Pay: $16.00 per hour to start, up to $19.36 per hour after 3 months

**Night Shift Differential: **Additional $1.50 per hour

Sourcenow Staffing is hiring dependable and motivated **Production Associates **for a manufacturing facility in Conover, NC. This is a full-time opportunity with openings on both day and night shifts.

Employees will rotate through a variety of production-line responsibilities, including operating bagging equipment, inspecting products for quality, removing defective products, preparing materials for reprocessing, stacking finished goods, operating a forklift after training and certification, and performing general housekeeping duties.

Prior manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.

• Safely operate production and bagging equipment.
• Maintain established production and quality goals.
• Inspect finished products for packaging defects or imperfections.
• Remove defective or out-of-spec products from the production line.
• Cut open rejected bales or bags for reprocessing.
• Hand stack pallets of finished 50-pound bags as needed.
• Operate a forklift after completing company-provided training and certification.
• Load, move, and store finished products and materials.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures.
• Work cooperatively with team members and supervisors.
• Perform additional production duties as assigned.

This employer offers a skills-based pay structure , allowing employees to increase their pay as they learn additional skills and take on greater responsibilities.

• Entry Level: $16.00/hour
• Bagger Level 2: $17.60/hour
• Master Bagger: $19.36/hour
• Night Shift: Additional $1.50/hour shift differential

• Prior manufacturing experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Ability to think critically and communicate effectively.
• Mechanical or technical aptitude preferred.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification; training is provided.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to lift / move 50-60 pounds

The position requires employees to:

• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Use hands and arms for handling, reaching, and operating equipment.
• Bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, and crawl as needed.
• Lift and/or move up to 60 pounds .
• Perform repetitive and physically demanding tasks in a manufacturing environment.
