Position Overview

Senior Manager, Finance – Sam’s Club, Walmart Inc., Bentonville, AR.

Join the Sam’s Fresh Merchandise Finance and Planning Team to support the Meat and Seafood merchandising teams. You will plan and forecast $8 billion in annual sales, develop financial models, present forecasts to senior leadership, and provide data‑driven insights to guide strategic decisions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement merchandise strategies aligned with business goals.
• Build and maintain financial models to identify trends and inform key business decisions for productivity, sales, and profitability.
• Prepare and present financial reports and forecasts to senior leadership.
• Conduct ad‑hoc analyses to support strategic initiatives and evaluate business opportunities.
• Provide financial advice to merchant partners, enabling data‑driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field with 4 years of experience, or 6 years of experience in accounting/finance.
• At least 1 year of experience leading and completing cross‑functional projects.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Expertise in analyzing complex financial data and deriving actionable insights.
• Proficiency with SQL, PowerBI, and BigQuery for data modeling and reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior leadership and communicate financial concepts to non‑financial audiences.
• Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and experience working cross‑functionally.
• Experience presenting insights and recommendations at all organizational levels.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00–$180,000.00, with additional annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
