Audiologist - Multi-Location Hearing Care Practice

Location: Brooklyn, Queens, and Staten Island, NY
Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire
Base Salary: $90,000-$110,000
Additional Compensation: Performance incentives based on hearing-aid sales and upgrades


Position Overview


A highly respected, multi-location hearing healthcare practice is seeking a motivated Audiologist to join its growing team in the New York metropolitan area.


This is an excellent opportunity for an Audiologist who enjoys combining clinical care with the consultative side of hearing healthcare. The successful candidate will conduct comprehensive evaluations, educate patients about their hearing health, and recommend appropriate treatment solutions based on each patient's hearing loss, lifestyle, communication goals, and personal needs.


The practice has served the New York area for more than two decades and operates 13 clinical locations within or near major medical centers. Its established physician and insurance referral network provides audiologists with consistent patient volume in a structured, appointment-based medical environment.


This position will primarily support clinics in Brooklyn and Queens , with potential future coverage in Staten Island and other locations as the organization continues to expand. Audiologists generally work across two to three clinic locations.


Patient Volume and Practice Model


Audiologists typically manage:

• Approximately 6-8 new comprehensive evaluations per day, depending on clinic volume
• Approximately 35-45 scheduled patients per week
• An average of approximately 60 hearing-aid fittings per month
• A combination of new evaluations, consultations, fittings, adjustments, and follow-up appointments

Dedicated scheduling teams and clinic support staff help maintain a consistent and organized patient flow.


Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations and hearing assessments
• Diagnose hearing loss and recommend appropriate treatment solutions
• Explain test results and hearing technology options in clear, practical terms
• Recommend hearing devices based on each patient's lifestyle, hearing needs, and treatment goals
• Fit, program, adjust, and troubleshoot hearing aids
• Provide hearing-aid counseling and individualized treatment planning
• Guide patients through the complete hearing-care journey, from diagnosis through treatment and follow-up
• Educate patients on hearing health, available technology, and the long-term value of appropriate treatment
• Build patient confidence and encourage treatment decisions through education and trust
• Maintain high patient satisfaction and low hearing-aid return rates
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with insurance billing requirements
• Coordinate with physicians, specialists, referral partners, clinic staff, and scheduling teams
• Provide coverage across two to three locations within the practice network
• Participate in ongoing training and mentorship with senior audiology leadership
• Support the continued clinical and financial growth of the practice

Qualifications

• Doctor of Audiology (AuD) or equivalent audiology degree
• Licensed Dispensing Audiologist in New York State or eligible to obtain licensure
• New York State Medicaid and Medicare credentialing
• One to five or more years of audiology experience preferred
• New graduates are encouraged to apply
• Experience with hearing-aid fittings and patient consultations
• Experience with hearing-aid counseling and treatment planning
• Familiarity with insurance-based audiology practices is preferred
• Strong diagnostic, communication, and patient-education skills
• Ability to explain hearing technology without overwhelming patients
• Confidence recommending devices based on patients' hearing needs and lifestyles
• Ability to work effectively across multiple clinic locations
• Comfortable working in a productive, structured, appointment-driven environment
• Entrepreneurial mindset and motivation to increase earnings through strong patient care and clinical performance

Compensation

• Base salary of $90,000-$110,000
• Performance incentives based on hearing-aid sales and technology upgrades
• Target total compensation of approximately $180,000-$200,000 for average performers
