Registrar/Scheduler - OK Wound Center

Job Summary Accurately enter patient information into the registration system. Perform quality control checks on registration data. Assist patients in completing necessary registration. Keep the work area clean, organized and professional. Receptive to feedback and strive for continuous improvement. Flexible and adaptable to change. Collect co‑pays and other payments from patients. Qualifications One year clerical experience and six months healthcare experience are required; preferred experience in medical office, insurance, hospital or computer environments. Keyboard speed of at least 30 WPM. Expertise in customer relations, telephone skills, and computer applications. Strong communication and customer service skills. Education High School Education or equivalent. Working knowledge of Medical Terminology required. Experience Six months clerical and customer service experience required. Some computer experience required. Medical and insurance experience required. Must be able to type a minimum of 30 WPM. (Above requirements can be met by an equivalent combination of education and experience.) Compensation / Benefits $16.07 - $26.25/hr depending on previous work experience.
