Overvie
wWe are seeking a detail-oriented Raw Materials Specialis t to support fabric and trim development within the intimates category. This individual contributor role is responsible for ensuring the quality, consistency, and technical integrity of fabrics, colors, and components from development through production
.This position partners closely with Design, Product Development, and Textile Technology teams to manage raw material execution, maintain accurate records, and uphold brand standards across all materials
.Key Responsibilitie
sRaw Material Development & Executio
- nSupport the development of fabrics, trims, and colors across knit and woven materials for intimates product
- sAssist in technical development from concept through pre-production and bulk executio
- nEnsure all materials meet quality, performance, and aesthetic standard
sColor & Fabric Quality Assuranc
- eEvaluate and maintain color consistency and fabric quality across development stage
- sConduct regular store visits to assess materials under retail lighting conditions and ensure alignment with brand standard
- sIdentify and escalate inconsistencies, partnering cross-functionally to resolve issue
sPLM & Material Managemen
- tMaintain accurate and up-to-date records within PLM system
- sTrack development timelines, approvals, and material specification
- sManage both physical raw material libraries and digital documentation with a high level of organizatio
nCross-Functional Collaboratio
- nPartner daily with Design, Product Development, and Technical teams to support material readines
- sCommunicate updates, risks, and timelines effectively across stakeholder
- sParticipate in frequent meetings and ongoing follow-ups to ensure project alignmen
tOperational Suppor
- tAssist in cataloguing and organizing all fabrics, trims, and color standard
- sSupport the Manager of Textile Technology in driving material execution and process consistenc
- yProvide guidance to junior team members or assistants as neede
dQualification
- sBachelor’s degree in Textile Technology, Materials Science, or related field (or equivalent experience
- )3–5 years of experience in raw materials, fabric development, or textile technolog
- yExperience supporting intimates or apparel categorie s, with strong exposure to knits and woven
- sFamiliarity with PLM systems and material tracking processe
- sStrong understanding of fabric construction, color development, and garment component
