The Clinic of General and Visceral Surgery (head: Prof. Dr. Stefan Fichtner-Feigl) invites talented and highly gifted candidates to apply as a Postdoctoral Researcher (f/div/m) in Tumor Immunology in the DFG-funded collaborative research center TRR417 for three years initially with a possibility for extension.### Research Area:The Research Group OncoImmunology belongs to the Department of General and Visceral Surgery and is led by Prof. Dr. Stefan Fichtner-Feigl. Our research group addresses fundamental questions about the modulation of immune responses in the tumor microenvironment of colorectal cancer. We focus on the impact of immune cells on the progression of colorectal cancer both in basic and translational research. Another key goal is to identify the impact of intestinal microbiota on pathogenesis of colorectal cancer.
