Family Practice/Primary Care Nurse Practitioner

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing Family Medicine team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centered primary care to an adult and pediatric demographic, working collaboratively to support our Practice Lead and ensure exceptional continuity of care. You will join a highly collaborative clinic culture with an established clinical onboarding system and excellent staff retention.

Scope of Practice

• Patient Population: Lifespan care from ages 3 months and up, including a large geriatric panel (no newborns).
• Comprehensive Primary Care: Handles acute visits, preventive care, annual wellness exams, vaccines, and sports physicals.
• Clinical Workflow: Unhurried scheduling with 45 minutes for new patients, 30 minutes for regular commercial visits, and 15 minutes for routine follow-ups.
• Clinical Procedures: Routine outpatient skills including ear washes, simple suturing, toenail removals, and EKGs.
• Volume & Call: A sustainable pace averaging 15 patients per day (max 20). Light shared phone-only call (1 week at a time, roughly 1 call/week) screened first by an answering service.

Qualifications

• Board Certified NP or PA.
• Open to all experience levels; the practice is highly seasoned at training and mentoring new graduates.
• Active, unrestricted license to practice in the state of Texas.
• Proactive, team-oriented mindset with strong organizational habits to collaborate with 1:1 dedicated MA support.
