Account Manager

Molex

Your Job Molex is seeking an Account Manager to lead commercial growth, customer engagement, and strategic account development within key target markets. In this role, you will combine the customer ownership, relationship management, and execution discipline of an Account Manager with the opportunity creation, market penetration, and growth leadership of a Business Development Manager. You will be responsible for developing trusted relationships with strategic customers, identifying and converting new business opportunities, aligning internal resources to customer needs, and driving profitable growth through strong commercial leadership and cross‑functional collaboration. Success in this role requires a principled, entrepreneurial approach and the ability to create mutual benefit for customers and Molex. Responsibilities Own the overall commercial relationship for assigned strategic accounts and develop long‑term account strategies that support profitable growth. Build and strengthen relationships across customer engineering, procurement, supply chain, operations, quality, and executive leadership. Identify, qualify, and drive new business opportunities within assigned accounts and target markets. Develop and execute growth strategies that expand share, improve customer intimacy, and position Molex for future platform wins. Lead commercial discussions including pricing, value positioning, negotiation strategy, and business‑case development. Partner with customer engineering and internal technical teams to influence design activity, solution adoption, and design wins. Coordinate cross‑functional resources to support opportunity development, production readiness, issue resolution, and customer satisfaction. Manage the communication flow between the customer and internal Molex teams to ensure alignment on priorities, risks, actions, and commitments. Support forecast visibility, revenue planning, pipeline management, and opportunity conversion. Lead or support customer business reviews, strategic planning sessions, and escalation management as needed. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. Experience in account management, business development, technical sales, or strategic sales roles. Experience managing complex customer relationships and driving revenue growth. Experience leading pricing discussions, commercial negotiations, and opportunity strategy. What Will Put You Ahead Experience supporting OEM, hyperscale, datacenter, AI infrastructure, networking, or high‑speed interconnect markets. Experience driving design wins, new platform adoption, or strategic solution positioning. Strong commercial acumen with the ability to evaluate growth opportunities, margin profile, and long‑term account value. Experience coordinating with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality teams to support production ramps and customer execution. Knowledge of global account structures, ODM/CM ecosystems, and customer service models.
