Applicants MUST have a valid driver's license and be willing to drive as part of the position.Job ResponsibilitiesAs a Direct Care Worker, you will provide hands-on support and care to individuals with developmental disabilities in a 6-bed group home setting.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Providing compassionate, person-centered care and supportAssisting residents with activities of daily livingProviding 100% hands-on care to all residents, including: Brief changesToiletingShowering and bathingDressingFeedingPreparing and serving meals and providing dining assistanceAdministering medications as prescribed and according to established proceduresCompleting daily cleaning and maintaining a safe, sanitary home environmentEngaging residents in enjoyable activities that encourage socialization and overall well-beingSupporting residents with dignity, patience, and respectQualificationsTo be considered for a Direct Care Worker position, applicants must:Be at least 18 years of ageHave a High School Diploma or GEDHave a valid Driver's LicenseBe able to successfully complete a criminal background checkBe dependable, responsible, and comfortable providing hands-on personal careBe willing to work weekends and holidaysMinimum of 1 year experience in a licensed group homeWhy Join Pathlight Community Services?At Pathlight, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others every day.
