IT Product Owner

We are on the hunt for a super talented Product Owner to join the IT team. You will be the owner of our Digital Product Roadmap, executing and prioritizing our business vision, and enabling the epic sailor experience we are committed to delivering. Your day-to-day involves gathering high-level requirements from senior business stakeholders, analyzing and detailing product features, and partnering with Product Owners, Release Train Engineers, and Solution Architects to manage delivery. Responsibilities Owner of features, acceptance criteria, and the implementation priorities for the different products. Hold workshops and detailing sessions for the different features in the program. Serve as a liaison between the business stakeholders’ vision and the project teams executing the solution. Develop, maintain, and manage product roadmap, focusing on solution design, feature prioritization, cross-project milestones and quality delivery. Deliver product enhancements by facilitating efforts across global business segments and delivery teams. Drive integrated global teams to deliver product features and technology solutions in support of key internal initiatives. Prioritize, plan, and execute the implementation schedule for product features. Identify, communicate and monitor product prioritization and critical cross-project milestones. Manage product deliverables, scope and expectations and communicate development progress with product owners, business analysts, scrum masters, program managers, sponsors, upper management and executives. Present to executive sponsors and provide communication to all levels of management. Influence and gain buy‑in from executive sponsors, teams, stakeholders and peers. Perform vendor analysis including RFI, RFP, RFQ and contract negotiations. Interface closely with all functional and business areas affected by the program. Identify and propose opportunities to adopt innovative processes and technologies. May perform hands‑on business analysis activities such as requirement documentation, product planning, execution, testing, training or addressing delivery impediments. Develop and track detailed product roadmaps, understand schedules, team capacity, velocity, and cost estimates. Participate in risk and issue mitigation plans. Extrapolate to the solution level and make product decisions and recommendations to senior leadership. Prepare and deliver product report outs to executive audiences. Establish product management practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to mature these capabilities under SAFe. Qualifications 3+ years of experience developing product roadmaps and managing product development. Proven troubleshooting and problem‑solving capabilities. Excellent analytical skills. Functional business analysis background is plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable liaising with senior stakeholders and influential business partners. Comfortable negotiating and influencing product prioritization aligning to organization goals and strategy. Independently motivated with a team player mentality. BA/BS degree or higher. MS degree is a plus. Knowledge and experience in the technology field is preferred. 5+ years of experience in technical product ownership, IT product management or digital platform delivery. Experience managing products under a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) is a must. Certification as an agile product owner (CSPO) or product manager. SAFe 4.6 Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) is preferred. Experience with a variety of IT products, including business-facing and backend applications for sales, operations, marketing, accounting, finance, legal, revenue management, human resources and others. Proficiency in change management methodologies, best practices, tools and techniques applied in internal initiatives. Strong analytical and cross‑functional collaboration skills. Excellent experience in SDLC Methodologies, Agile, SCRUM, SAFe. Experience with PM and collaboration tools such as SmartSheets and JIRA/Confluence. Detail-oriented, multi-tasking, self-directed, with the ability to prioritize tasks. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to travel 10% - 25% depending on location.
