UNIQLO Human Resources Coordinator

Salary: $26.50 / hour (Milpitas, CA) Overview The Human Resources Coordinator reports to the Store Manager and Regional HR Manager and supports all HR functions for UNIQLO Stores. The role primarily works in stores and may require occasional travel. Responsibilities Provide training to store employees on HR processes and procedures, employment laws, recruiting procedures, etc. Partner with the Regional Human Resources Manager on employee relations issues and staffing objectives. Process various HR reports and handle administrative tasks related to HR recording, policy and procedure. Liaise for employee relations questions and concerns, including leaves of absence, paid time off, workers compensation. Assist with interviews, investigations, disciplinary actions and provide HR support at the store level. Collaborate with store managers, human resources, training and payroll teams. Utilize recruiting tools to post open positions and source external candidates through on‑site recruiting events, job fairs, and competitor research. Follow up and track all employment aspects, such as completing employment forms, conducting orientations, and notifying departments of new hire start dates. Resolve HR issues in a timely and effective manner, partnering with HR when necessary. Support customer needs and maintain UNIQLO service standards, fundamental principles, and standard phrases. Maintain brand and operational standards in store (visual, cleanliness, etc.). When required, be knowledgeable of fitting room standards and act as a cashier following cashier protocol. Ensure integrity of payroll and payroll process. Ensure employee image and grooming standards align with brand image. Support multiple store locations and perform other assigned duties. Qualifications Strong communication skills. Proficiency with ADP PayForce, Oracle, SuccessFactors, and Workday. Ability to stand for long periods, read computer terminals, push, pull, move, lift or carry objects up to 10 pounds. Ability to maneuver around sales floor and stockroom; handle repetitive bending, prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, squatting, and climbing. Schedule & Availability Flexible schedule required to meet business needs, including nights, evenings, and weekends. Full‑time availability (approximately 32 or more hours per week). Restrictions on availability are limited to three days, with at most one restriction permitted on Friday‑Sunday (religious exemptions considered). At least one restriction must be time‑based. Education & Experience Associate’s Degree in a related field or 1+ years of Human Resources or Administration experience.
