About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its critical illness recovery hospital. The CEO will be a champion of the company's values, putting the patient first, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, compassionate care. This hands-on role involves providing strategic direction, operations management, and a focus on business development within a critical care environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for daily hospital operations, including compliance with regulatory obligations, employee engagement, and maintaining a high ethical standard. The CEO will also be involved in the complaint-grievance process, and will be expected to have a strong background in finance, strategic planning, and community education of health programs. Applicants for the CEO position at the company's critical illness recovery hospital must have a Master’s degree and a minimum of 3 years' leadership experience in healthcare, with a focus on management functions and operations in an acute care or specialty hospital setting. The role requires a professional with a proven track record in analyzing complex situations, making effective decisions, and operating with high personal integrity and positivity, even under pressure. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, capable of assuming broad responsibilities in a dynamic healthcare environment, and will be expected to maintain a Top 10 Key Business Development Relationship list. The CEO will also be responsible for preparing and presenting the hospital's annual operating budget, 3-year capital budget, and strategic plan to the Governing Board.
