The Opportunity

We are seeking an energetic and results-oriented Account Sales Manager to develop and grow our customer base in the greater Phoenix, Arizona area. This is a relationship-driven outside sales role where you will be the face of Precision Tool & Safety Supply / HTO Supply — identifying new business opportunities, nurturing existing accounts, and delivering solutions that keep our customers safe and productive on the job.

This is a remote position with the main store based in Tucson. Initial training, follow up, meetings and inventory transfers may require visits to store located in North Tucson area. Coordinating with weekly delivery driver for orders and samples needed.

What You'll Do

• Develop and manage a portfolio of commercial and industrial accounts throughout the Phoenix market

• Prospect for new business through cold calls, referrals, job site visits, and networking

• Build long-term relationships with purchasing managers, safety directors, contractors, and facilities teams

• Present and demonstrate our full line of tools, safety equipment, and industrial supplies

• Prepare and deliver competitive quotes and proposals

• Partner with our inside sales and operations teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction

• Represent Precision Tool & Safety Supply / HTO Supply at trade shows, industry events, and customer appreciation activities as needed

• Coordinate and conduct joint sales calls with factory representatives to provide customers with in-depth product expertise and strengthen supplier relationships

• Participate in ongoing product training and education to maintain a high level of knowledge across our tool, safety, and industrial supply catalog — and pass that knowledge on to customers through demonstrations, lunch-and-learns, and on-site consultations

• Track sales activity, pipeline, and account details using company CRM tools

• Stay current on product lines, industry trends, and competitor offerings

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, hours vary by time of year and business needs

• Additional availability required periodically for trade shows, customer events, and other sales-related activities

• Occasional travel outside of the region for manufacturer product trainings and events

What We're Looking For

• Proven track record in outside sales, account management, or business development — experience in tool, safety, industrial, or construction supply is a strong plus

• Self-starter with excellent time management and the ability to work independently in the field

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills — you build trust quickly and follow through consistently

• Comfortable with a consultative sales approach; you listen first and solve problems

• Familiarity with CRM software and basic Microsoft Office tools

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

• Knowledge of the Phoenix commercial and industrial market is an advantage

Base Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Commission: Unlimited — estimated $15,000–$18,000 annually at plan, with significant upside as your territory grows
